Areas where Fortified ID can support identity governance over time.
Identities change over time. Users join, change roles, move between organizations, receive new responsibilities or leave the business. At the same time, external users such as consultants, partners and suppliers need to be managed with clear responsibility and controlled access.
The challenge is to keep identities, responsibility relationships and entitlements correct as the business changes. If the process is manual or unclear, access can remain in place too long, end up with the wrong person or lack clear ownership.
Fortified ID Control can support lifecycle governance through automation, Forms, Pipes, Schedules, approvals and recurring reviews. Fortified ID Access can complement this with strong authentication and controlled access flows when identities are used to log in to systems and resources.
