Manage version

Use Manage version to install an available version of the managed service. Select the version to install; Management Center downloads it when it is not already available locally. This feature requires internet access and is unavailable in air-gapped mode.

Caution

Installing a different version restarts the managed service. The service is unavailable until it starts again.

The screenshots use Access as an example. The same workflow is available for each managed product.

 

Note

mTLS and fortifiedid.license

If a fortifiedid.license file is present (in the config folder), the Management Center will use mutual TLS when checking for available versions. In this case, the client authenticates using a certificate and private key provided via the license file, instead of relying on unauthenticated HTTPS.
