Management Center

Overview of how Management Center is used together with Fortified ID Access.

This page shows how Management Center works together with Fortified ID Access.

Management Center applications are product-specific, while following the same platform model. The Access Management Center application manages Access, and the general Management Center concepts are shared with other Fortified ID products on the same platform.

For full documentation about Management Center itself, see:

Use the Management area for product-level administration of the Access instance connected to Management Center.

For Access, this can include license status, product version, upgrades, system logs, audit logs, runtime status, and related operational information.

The Configuration area brings together shared platform configuration and Access-specific configuration.

For Access, this includes areas such as authenticators, credential validators, flow control, protocol managers, SAML, OIDC, and related settings.

Use the Access documentation when you need to understand what the Access configuration concepts mean and how they relate to the runtime.

Use the Applications area to manage connected applications in Fortified ID Access.

This includes SAML SP applications, OIDC RP applications, and SAML profiles. SAML profiles can be used to group SAML SP applications that should share similar configuration.

The Sessions area shows the currently active sessions for the IdP.

From here, administrators can inspect live sessions and, when needed, terminate them through the Destroy action.

You can also manage the product directly on the filesystem instead of using Management Center. Edit configuration as JSON files in a text editor, and manage logs, upgrade files, certificates, and folders with Windows Explorer or the corresponding file-management tools for Linux and container-based deployments.

If you are setting up Management Center for the first time, see the hands-on guide:
