Windows

Upgrading will stop Management Center service

Prerequisites before you start upgrading:

  • Installation media for latest version of Management Center. (windows-x64-x.x.x.exe) Access to installation media is provided using your customer/partner login.

  • Backup the folder structure of management center. Note. Folders not touched during upgrade:

    • <mgmt_root>\data

    • <mgmt_root>\config

    • <mgmt_root>\bin

Upgrading Management Center on Windows

  1. Run installation with elevated privileges. Right click windows-x64-x.x.x.exe and choose Run as administrator.

  2. On Welcome to the Fortified ID Management Center Setup Wizard page, verify Yes, update the existing installation is selected. Click Next to continue.

  3. On the Licence agreement page, read the agreement and verify the checkbox for I accept the agreement is selected. Click Next to continue.

  4. Upgrade will now take place. If Management Service was not already manually stopped the installer will stop the service.

  5. On the Select Additional Tasks page, click check box Start Management Center service if you like to start the service now. Click Next to continue.

  6. On the last page, Completing the Fortified ID Management Service Center Setup Wizard page, click Finish to exit setup.
