Management Center

How Management Center is used to manage Password Reset and Password Reset-specific configuration.

This page provides an overview of how Management Center is used together with Fortified ID Password Reset.

The Password Reset Management Center application is product-specific, but it follows the same platform model as other Fortified ID products that use Management Center. This means you get a product-focused view for Password Reset, while the core Management Center concepts are shared across products.

For full documentation about Management Center itself, see Management Center.

The Management area is used for product-level administration of Password Reset.

Here you typically find things like product status, version information, upgrades, logs, and other operational information.

The Configuration area contains the settings that are relevant when configuring Password Reset in Management Center.

For Password Reset, this can include product-specific configuration such as password policy and language files.

Use the Password Reset documentation when you need to understand what the Password Reset configuration concepts mean and how they relate to the runtime.

As an alternative to Management Center, the product can be managed directly on the filesystem. Configuration is then edited as JSON files, while logs, upgrade files, certificates, and folder structure are handled through the operating system's file management tools.

If you are setting up Management Center for the first time, see the hands-on guide:
