Session and connection state
How Management Center responds to expired sessions and lost server connections
Management Center blocks configuration when the browser can no longer make authenticated requests. This prevents the interface from appearing writable when changes cannot be saved.
Access states
Section titled “Access states”Session expired
Section titled “Session expired”When the server reports that the session is no longer valid, Management Center displays a non-dismissible Session expired dialog. Sign in again through the offered login flow before continuing.
This state can be caused by normal session timeout, an invalid CSRF session, or an authentication redirect from the managed service.
Connection lost
Section titled “Connection lost”When a request does not reach the server, Management Center displays Connection lost and blocks further configuration. Restore network access, renew the browser's certificate exception when a development or test certificate is used, and then select Retry.
Management Center also rechecks access when the tab becomes visible or the browser window regains focus.
Save failures
Section titled “Save failures”Mutation failures that are not handled by a specific configuration view are shown as notifications. Do not assume an edit was stored until the interface confirms that it was saved.
