UI customization

How to override UI strings and translations per organization.

Each organization can override UI text and translations by adding files to its override directory on the server.

File layout

Set localesMergePath to point at the locale files for this organization:

Any other top-level ui_config.json property can also be overridden here (logos, titles, supported languages, etc.). The override file is merged on top of the base config — keys present in the override file win.

Locale files

Each locale file contains a flat map of translation keys to replacement strings:

Only the keys you want to change need to be present. Base translations are unaffected for all other keys. New keys not present in the base translations are added.

The files are loaded and merged at page load and again on each language switch.
