# The service

Overview of Management Center capabilities and its role across Fortified ID products

Fortified ID Management Center is a standalone product from Fortified ID, that handles installation, upgrades, configuration, and monitoring for all Fortified ID products. Customers can choose to use Management Center or manage their products independently.<br>

All communication with underlying products is handled through standards-based APIs, yielding several benefits:
