# Common Use Cases

Overview of the two main Fortified ID Control use case formats and where to find them.

This section helps the reader navigate the two main types of Fortified ID Control use cases.

The first type is **business-oriented use cases**. These are short, descriptive examples intended to make it easy to relate to common needs, scenarios, and outcomes without going into detailed configuration. Choose these when you want to understand what Fortified ID Control can be used for in practice.

The second type is **hands-on use cases**. These are more implementation-focused and describe how a scenario can be configured in practice. Choose these when you want step-by-step guidance, configuration examples, or a more technical setup-oriented view.
